In this document we refer to Fuel and CORNERS as “WE” or “US”, whilst “YOU” and “YOURS” refers to the Customer, any party rider, pillion guest etcetera, taking part to any activity organized by Fuel and CORNERS.

Fuel and CORNERS is a Tour Operator Company, specialized in organizing motorcycle holidays in Italy, mainly, although We operate on a worldwide basis.

Fuel and CORNERS is born with the intention of bringing You, the Public, the chance of riding the twisty Italian roads with Your friends/partner without the hassle of the long, costly, time consuming and machine wearing, journey to Italy, but still bearing in mind the main reason why we all ride motorcycles in the first place: the sense of freedom and the “kameraderie” between bikers.

On these grounds, we generally provide accommodation in shared double rooms(when booking with friends, unless traveling with Your Other Half or otherwise agreed/specified) in 2-3 Stars Hotels/Accommodations, unless otherwise agreed(prices vary accordingly).

Fuel and CORNERS organizes your all-inclusive(unless otherwise agreed or specified) motorcycle holiday: this means that, unless otherwise agreed/specified, You will get a rental motorcycle(fuel and miles included), full-board(unless otherwise agreed/specified) accommodation, luggage-shuttle service(when/where applicable), entrance fees to agreed points of interest(where/when applicable).

Although every Fuel and CORNERS package includes a basic holiday insurance, WE recommend the Customer(s) to subscribe an appropriate medical insurance for the duration of the tour(in case of accident, illness and death).

European citizens are usually covered(in Europe) with the European Health Insurance card(the old E111 certificate).

UK citizens can obtain this by phoning 0845 606 2030 or online at www.ehic.org.uk, as well as at main Post Offices.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Fuel and CORNERS can not be held responsible for traffic, road or weather conditions.
  2. It is the Customer(s) responsibility to be fully compliant with the relevant immigration laws which apply in the hosting Country.
  3. It is the Customer(s) responsibility to bring(and carry at all times!) all the relevant documents(Passport/photo ID, driver license etc); non adherence may result in delays, tour alterations and, worst case scenario, the cancellation of the holiday with no further obligation towards the non compliant Customer(s).
  4. It is the Customer(s) responsibility to get to the agreed meeting point at the agreed time(prior to the start of, and during, the holiday package).
  5. It is the Customer(s) responsibility to inform(in writing at the time of the booking, but anyway at least 10 days before the full balance settlement) Fuel and CORNERS may the Customer/s have special requirements/needs(any impairment/disability/allergies/food intolerances/preferences regarding the accommodation, etc), as Fuel and CORNERS accepts no liability/responsibility in the matter.
  6. It is the Customer(s) responsibility to declare any medical condition any Drivers, Vehicle and Licensing Agency should be aware of, as this may partially(or completely) jeopardize Your(and Your travel companions) holiday with Fuel and CORNERS, as We reserve the right to cancel Your booking without any further obligation towards You.
  7. Fuel and CORNERS is NOT in the Host and Catering business, as Fuel and CORNERS will arrange, as a Tour Operator company, accommodations, catering and refreshments(when and where applicable) as per holiday package schedule.
  8. If Fuel and CORNERS offered the shuttle service from/to the Airport, any amendment to the meeting point and/or pick-up/drop-off time may be subject to a surcharge.
  9. Fuel and CORNERS position in regards with alcohol/drugs consumption during any of our holiday packages is of ZERO TOLERANCE.
  10. It is expected, at all times during the day, that the Rider/s will be fit to ride/drive(in compliance with local, current, legislation).
  11. Alcohol consumption is tolerated within reason and the limits imposed by the Law of the hosting Country.
  12. Intoxicated/Under the influence of drugs riders(or suspected intoxicated/under the influence of drugs riders, as per Tour Guide discretion) will be automatically banned from the holiday on the spot, with no further obligation, nor responsibility, from Fuel and CORNERS.(see paragraphs 9, 10, 13, 17, 18, 21, 23 of these T&Cs)
  13. Fuel and CORNERS declines any responsibility for any delay or alterations to the purchased holiday package caused by any disruptive Customer(s).

    THE RIDE

  14. May any issue arise during any of our tours, it should be reported straight away to the Tour Guide, who will promptly deal with the matter and find a viable solution, for the Tour to smoothly reach its completion, and the Customer satisfaction achieved.
  15. Fuel and CORNERS is NOT a vehicle hire company, we therefore decline any responsibility regarding the rental motorcycles apart for sourcing the agreed vehicle(or an upper class suitable alternative).
  16. The hired vehicle will be in Your(The Customer/Rider’s) name, You’ll be fully in charge of the vehicle and its safe and responsible use(as per rules, laws and regulations of the Country of usage, meaning that any motoring offense committed will be debited to the relevant Customer/Offender).
  17. Whilst in charge of the vehicle You will be held responsible for Your health and safety, the health and safety of the person(s) traveling with You, other road users and the Public.
  18. In case, as a result of misconduct(or misuse) whilst in charge of the vehicle, any hazard will be posed to Yourself or any other Third Party, Fuel and CORNERS reserves the right to completely cancel Your holiday, with no further obligations towards You.
  19. Fuel and CORNERS leaves its Customers the complete freedom of riding and roaming as the Customers please, with respect towards the rules, laws and regulations of the hosting Country, the holiday package schedule, every form of life, safety and the Environment.
  20. We therefore decline any responsibility for any accident, loss or damage occurred to/suffered by the Customer, as well as We take no liability for any inappropriate behaviour, both when accompanied or not.
  21. May the Customer/s conduct be detrimental/disruptive for the smooth completion of the Tour, and the harmony of the Group, Fuel and CORNERS will reserve the right to cancel the holiday, with no further obligations towards You.(see paragraphs 12, 17 and 18 of these T&Cs)
  22. Although hired motorcycles come with accidents and breakdown cover, in the event of accident or breakdown the Customer accepts that the Tour will continue its journey and, may the Person be both physically and psychologically able to continue the Tour, will be provided a suitable alternative replacement machine at the earliest opportunity, in accordance with the supplier’s terms of business.
  23. In case the Customer won’t be able to continue his riding journey, the holiday will be considered terminated, and any unspent, remaining, “benefit” of the holiday package(motorcycle hire, hospitality, etcetera) will be not refundable, and any further logistic need will have to be self-catered.(see paragraphs 9,10,12, 18 and 22 of these T&Cs)
  24. KNOW YOUR LIMITS, MOTORCYCLE RIDING IS DANGEROUS AND DEMANDING!
    Fuel and CORNERS is very aware there are many of You who munch several thousands miles a year on Your motorcycles, but We still feel it’s the case of reminding You to NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE JOURNEY, as this may look at times “short”, but for the countless number of corners to negotiate, as well as the narrowness of some of the roads Our packages will lead You onto, could seriously test and challenge Your fitness; Fuel and CORNERS, therefore, declines any responsibility regarding any issue(health/fitness related) this may cause, as well as any alteration the holiday package should be subject to in order to best suit the Customer(s) needs.

    BOOKING

  25. Our policy works on a first come, first served basis, therefore BOOK EARLY in order to secure the desired dates.
  26. In order to take part in any of our tours as a rider, you must be at least aged 25 and hold a valid Driver License with FULL MOTORCYCLE ENTITLEMENT, as well as the photo ID the holiday has been booked with, fully valid and in date.
  27. In case of CUSTOMERS coming from non-EU Countries, beside a Valid Driver License, Fuel and CORNERS requires the International Driving Permit, which can be obtained by the relevant agencies operating in each Country, as well as an appropriate, valid, photo ID.
  28. In order to take part to any of our tours as a pillion passenger(when/where applicable) You must be aged at least 18(Fuel and CORNERS accepts minors only if traveling with an Adult, aged 25+, who will be held responsible at all times for the behaviour of the young person).
  29. Reserving a place involves paying a 20% deposit(exclusions apply - see paragraphs 31 and 32 of these T&Cs) of the agreed sale price, of which:
        a)  The 80% is fully refundable up to 60 days prior to the start of the tour(60 full days, excluding the first day of the holiday)
        b)  Between the 59th day and the 30th day prior to the start of the tour, only the 50% of the deposit will be refundable
        c)  Cancelling your tour 30 days(or less) prior to the start of the tour means that You won’t be entitled to any refund.
  30. The full remaining balance will have to be payed by the 30th day prior to the start of the tour; if the full balance has not been received by the agreed deadline, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
  31. Reserving a place in one of Our tours is possible up to 15 days prior to the agreed commencement of the tour(prices may vary according to the short notice) and, may the tour be booked between the 45th and the 30th day prior to the start date, a 40% deposit will be required.
  32. Booking Your tour between 30 and 15 days prior to the start of the tour implies You will have to pay the full balance at the moment of the booking, and You won’t be entitled to any refund, nor You could transfer the holiday package onto another person’s name.
  33. It is possible to transfer(one time only) the booking/holiday package onto another person’s name(as per equivalent requirements, where/when applicable) within 20 days prior to the start of the holiday, given that the required payments and documents have been promptly(by the 20th day prior to the commencement of the holiday; failure to do this will result in no entitlement to ANY REFUND) made/provided, although this will incur an administration fee of 100- GBP.
  34. Fuel and CORNERS never cancelled a Tour so far however, there may be occasions of extreme severity(weather, war etc) which may force US to reschedule the holiday to a later/earlier/most suitable/convenient agreed date at no extra cost, or You’ll be entitled to a full refund.
  35. Any issue arisen due to lack of understanding of the above Terms & Conditions, as well as lack of communication with Fuel and CORNERS at time of the booking[eg. the Customer(s) has special dietary requirements and forgot to tell Us about them(see paragraphs 5, 6, 7, 13 and 14 of these T&Cs)/the Customer(s) is affected/impaired by a condition and forgot to tell Us about it/the Customer(s) suffers from coulrophobia, vertigo, agoraphobia etc.(see paragraphs 5 and 6 of these T&Cs)] may result in holiday package alterations, surcharges and, worst case scenario, the cancellation of the holiday.

COMPLAINTS

As per paragraph 14 of these Terms & Conditions, Fuel and CORNERS wishes that any arisen issue/concern would be promptly voiced during the holiday, for Us to be able to deal with it and address it immediately, for a maximum enjoyment of the experience.

However, in case any dissatisfaction may arise, Fuel and CORNERS is here to accept complaints IN WRITING within 28 days from holiday completion, for Us to be able to deal with the matter.
